Marvel Congratulates ‘Jurassic World’ for beating the ‘Avengers’ for becoming the top-grossing opening weekend in US film history.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige congratulates Universal Pictures, Legendary Films, producer Frank Marshall, director Colin Trevorrow, and star Chris Pratt for Jurassic World beating the Avengers as the top grossing film in opening weekend.

Kevin tweeted a photoshopped image showing the Avengers characters looking up to a T-Rex with Chris Pratt riding on its back.

The tweet reads: “Marvel Studios congratulates Jurassic World for being the new opening weekend King!”

Rentrak said on Thursday, Jurassic World debuts with $208 million debut last weekend, it has taken in $25 million Monday, $24 million Tuesday and $19.8 million Wednesday and is up to $278 million domestically.

Report also said that Jurassic World could beat the Avatar for being the highest earner world wide.
