Netizens express dismay over Asia’s Got Talent leaked final results on social media!
Four hours before the airing of AXN’s top hit reality show Asia’s Got Talent Grand Finals on Thursday, the competition winner has been leaked by certain ‘starmometer’ on Instagram.
The account shared a photo showing the victory moment of the Shadow Play Group from the Philippines with caption “El Gamma Penumbra wins Asia’s Got Talent.” The person who took the photo is one of the audience members at the grand finals.
Local news website such as Rappler and Dailypedia fumes the spoilers and sends “El Gamma Penumbra” on Twitter’s trending topic hours before the official announcement of the winner.
While netizens were happy about news, many are not amused with the leak of the results.
Also, Asia’s Got Talent official Facebook account politely asked Dailypedia to shut down the post on their website.
“Could you please take down your post on El Gamma? EP10 is airing on AXN is airing on AXN at 8pm and we do not want to spoil the experience for the viewers. Thank you!” Asia’s Got Talent wrote.
