Celia Veloso, the mother of Mary Jane Veloso, asked for understanding from netizens who called her ingrate and ungrateful for slamming the Philippine government.
In an interview with Inquirer, Celia Veloso remained with her position about the government and asked for understanding from the Filipino people.
“I hope they learn the truth. I hope they will understand me,” said Celia Veloso.
“Our countrymen do not understand my situation. We sought the government’s help for two years. We only got promises. Even Indonesian President Widodo’s answer to President Aquino’s call was, ‘Why only now?” Veloso explained.
Celia Veloso angers netizens on Friday after slamming the President of the Philippines and denying the role of the government in her daughter’s reprieved.
People immediately lost sympathy to the Veloso family and called Celia ungrateful and ingrate.
