Another powerful earthquake with an intensity of 7.4 hits Nepal two weeks after a 7.8-magnitude quake struck the country.
According to US Geological Survey, the quake had a magnitude of 7.4 and struck 42 miles west of the town of Namche Bazaar, close to Mount Everest. Shockwaves were felt as far away as the Indian capital, Delhi.
On April 25, Nepal was struck by a 7.8-magnitude quake which killed more than 8,000 people. The quake caused widespread damage across the region destroying homes, buildings and temples.
