Angelia Gabrena Ong is the crowned winner of Miss Philippines Earth 2015 – the announcement was made at the end of the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 coronation night held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, May 31, 2015.
Angelia Gabrena Ong, a working student from the city of Manila, bested 37 other candidates from around the country.
During the Question and Answer portion, Ong was asked if she believes in same sex marriage.
Her answer: “If the person feels he or she needs to be married to show his or her love, then I don’t mind having same sex marriage. If you feel that that is love, then so be it.”

Other winners are Miss Philippines Earth Air 2015 Chanel Olive Thomas; Miss Philippines Earth Water 2015 Catherine Joy Marin; Miss Philippines Earth Fire 2015 Carla Angela Valderrama; and Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2015 Jona Sweett.
Angelia Gabrena Ong will represent the Philippines in the international Miss Earth competition later this year.
