American Idol will return for 15th and final season next January on FOX!
Fox Network confirmed that American Idol will return for one more season with the same set of judges including Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr next year — but it will be the last series for the show.
American Idol is a breakout singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by 19 Entertainment, and is distributed by Fremantle Media North America. It began airing on Fox on June 11, 2002.
Meanwhile, American Idol will crown its Season 14 winner this week. The Top 3 Finalist competing for the coveted title are Jax, Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani.
