Quentin Alexander throws tantrum on American Idol, Harry Connick Jr responded saying it’s highly disrespectful.
On Wednesday’s episode of American Idol, Harry Connick Jr was not impressed with Quentin Alexander after criticizing the show.
The awkward moment happened after Quentin performed his version of “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by Lenny Kravitz during the American Classics themed show on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old singer seems not happy after receiving rough remarks from the judges. When Ryan Seacrest asked him what’s up?
Quentin answered: “This sucks. We’ve got two of the best vocalists, my best friend, sitting over there, this whole thing is “wack” but I’m going to shut up right now.”
But Harry responded saying: “Quentin, if it’s that wack, then you can always go home, because Idol is paying a lot of money to give you this experience and for you to say that to this hand that is feeding you right now, I think is highly disrespectful.”
Quentin Alexander rushed to the judges table and explained that he meant it was wack to see two fellow contestants go home, not that Idol itself was wack.
