Jason Dy is the crowned winner of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2, Alisah Bonaobra runner-up!
Jason Dy is the announced winner of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 — Dy won the title after getting the highest percentage votes from the public.
The 23-year-old singer from Butuan City beats Rence Rapanot of Team Bamboo, Alisah Bonaobra of Team Apl, Leah Patriciao of Team Leah in the two-night Grand Finale of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 on Saturday and Sunday.
The Final Showdown comes down between Jason and Alisah and for their final song, Jason Dy performed Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin while Alisah Bonaobra sings All By Myself.
It was revealed that Jason got the highest percentage of votes with 52.94%, Alisah got 47.06% of votes.
Jason Dy took home the 2 million pesos cash prize from Systema Toothpaste, a House and Lot from Camella Homes, a business package from Brother Philippines, a shopping spree and a tour package from Jag, a brand new Ford Fiesta, a musical instrument package and a recording contract with MCA Universal.
