But aside from Katy Perry, the dancing sharks also took Twitter by storm, particularly the Left Shark.
Hash tag #LeftShark has become one of the most tweeted topic during the event. Why?
The left shark backup messed up the choreography and people fell in love with the adorable awkwardness.

It was later revealed that the dancing sharks are actually Katy’s long time back up dancers, Scott Myrick and Bryan Gaw.
Scott Myrick is the shark on the right and Bryan Gaw is the famous left shark.
