Actual Mamasapano SAF Video Taken Down on Social Media


The actual video of the Mamasapano encounter that shows the brutal killing of SAF troopers, which went viral, has been removed from YouTube and social media site Facebook!

The controversial 6-minute viral video, showing the actual scene of the Mamasapano clash between the MILF and SAF has been taken down from the social media site Facebook and video sharing site YouTube.

The said video surfaces the Internet early this week and reportedly first seen in a journalist’s Facebook page. According to a blog, the video was only emailed to the page admin by an unidentified person.

After the video made public, the palace released a statement and called out the attention of the uploader to take it down.

“Whoever uploaded the video is a heartless fellow,” presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said.

“If you still have some humanity left in your soul, we ask you to take it down,” he adds.

While the viral video has been removed online, authorities obtained a copy and used it to identify the suspects in the footage.

Report said, NBI cyber crime forensic division managed to identify atleast five persons in the video.

However, NBI is also looking for the uploader of the video who violates the cyber crime law for obscene publication.
