Joniver Robles is not moving to the The Voice of the Philippines Live Shows — the shocking news was announced at the end of the Knockouts episode on Sunday, January 18, 2015.
“After much deliberation, Joniver at and the show agreed that it’s best for him not to continue with the show due to personal reasons,” said coach Bamboo.
According to the rules of The Voice original format, the artist who he battled with during the Knockout Rounds will take his spot. With this, Rita Martinez replaces Joniver Robles.
Following the announcement, Robles posted a status message on his Facebook wall seeking help from family, friends and supporters.
I NEED HELP. To all my supporters… specially friends and love ones… to my Mom. I didn’t know what to do and not hearing anything from my coach and teammates or anyone from the show made wait until tonight. IT WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME. Myself.. being in that show is “personal” itself… I’ve been struggling and doing this all my life and always wanted to perform in a worldwide stage. I will never exchange this opportunity for anything. I am saying this because these people can always make up lies to be used against me.
While the show doesn’t give sufficient details about the sudden exit of Joniver Robles, viewers are asking why and what’s the real reason behind his removal.
