Mary Jean Lastimosa Miss Universe National Costume earned criticisms from Netizens, comparing it to a cake!
Supporters of MJ Lastimosa are not happy with her colorful and flower-festive design National Costume she presented during the preliminary competition of Miss Universe 2014 held at the FIU Arena in Miami, Florida on Wednesday.
According to Netizens, Lastimosa’s national costume was inspired by wedding cakes, birthday cakes and Iced Gem biscuits. They said that the colorful design is fitted for a carnival not for beauty pageant.
Colombian fashion designer Alfredo Barraza designed Mary Jean’s national costume.
