Is Miss Philippines Mary Jean Lastimosa the winner of Miss Universe 2014 beauty pageant?
Philippines bet Mary Jean Lastimosa might win the coveted Miss Universe 2014 crown, says Sportsbook Review resident Lee Phelps.
According to the Phelps, Desiree Ferrer of Spain, Migbelis Castellanos of Venezuela, Nia Sanchez of the USA, Paulina Vega of Colombia and MJ Lastimosa of the Philippines are his favorites, but the 27-year-old beauty queen from North Cotabato is his top pick.

“Philippines is doing well in pageantry recently,” he said. “I’m thinking of a Top 5 finish here. Couple of reasons are, she was invite early to promote media work for the pageant. Manny Pacquiao is one of the judges and it could help a lot,” he adds.
“There’s a lot of things conspiring there, she has a terrible year, she lost her father and uncle. This whole journey is dedicated for her family. There’s a real personal story behind there.”
Miss Universe 2014, will be the 63rd Miss Universe pageant, to be held on January 25, 2015 at the FIU Arena at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, USA.
Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler from Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the competition.
