The long wait is over, American Idol returns to Fox with Season 14 tonight, January 7, 2015.
The longest running singing competition is set for another season, American Idol Season 14 premieres Wednesday night.
Jennifer Lopez, Keith urban, Harry Connick Jr form last season will again serve as judges. Ryan Seacrest, the only remaining original cast of the reality show, will also return as host.
Unfortunately, Randy Jackson decided to leave show after 13 years of being part of American Idol. Jackson serves as mentor last season.
American Idol Season 14 Auditions airs with an hour-long episode on Wednesday and a two-hour episode on Thursday. The show will cut back to a two-hour show once a week, every Wednesday, when the Live Shows begins.
