Manny Pacquiao will judge the upcoming Miss Universe 2015 pageant in Florida, says report.
While the “Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather” boxing match is still in talks, promoter Bob Arum told the Telegraph on Friday that Manny Pacquiao will judge the Miss Universe pageant early next year.
“The only thing we’re planning with Pacquiao is that he’s going to be a judge at one of these beauty contests – Miss World or Miss Universe, the one in Miami, in January,” says Arum.
If the judging stint worked out, Pacquiao could be the sixth Filipino judge in the history of Miss Universe beauty pageant.
Broadway star Lea Salonga, Manila Bulletin Publishing chairman Don Emilio T. Yap, fashion designer Josie Natori and singer Kuh Ledesma are among of the Filipino personalities who served as judge in the said beauty contest.
Meanwhile, Philippines hopes to bring the Miss Universe crown with Mary Jean Lastimosa — Philippines has been in the Final 5 for five consecutive pageants.
