Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri stepped into the scale for the last time to see if they meet the required weight for the Welterweight division on Friday, November 21, 2014.
After months of training and strict diet, the final verdict for the weigh-in has come.
Manny Pacquiao weighs in at 143.8 pounds while Chris Algieri weighs in at 143.6 pounds.
Algeri have to shed more weight from his original 144.4 lbs – many are asking if the decrease could affect his play? That’s what we are going to find out on Saturday night!
When ask if he can defeat Manny, “I know I did all the hard work and I have the talent and skills to do it,” said Algeri. While Manny said, “he is excited to share his speed, power and aggressiveness.”
Manny Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri boxing match will take place at the Cotai Arena in Macau, China on Saturday, November 22, 2014. The event will start at 9:00 PM EST or 9:00 AM in Philippines, November 23.
