Manny Pacquiao defeats Chris Algieri by unanimous decision in a 12-boxing round in Macau, China on Saturday, November 22, 2013.

Manny Pacquiao remain as WBO welterweight champion after beating rising American boxer Chris Algieri. Algieri went down on the canvas six times over the course of the fight against Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao won the boxing match over Chris Algieri by unanimous decision — two of three judges scored the fight 119-103 for Pacquiao. A third had it a complete shutout, 120-102.

“I did my best tonight,” said Manny. “I’m looking for a knock out but he is fast and it’s hard to be careless.”

“I’m happy because there’s a lot of Filipino people came here to watch the fight. I’m happy that God gave me this victory tonight,” Manny said after winning the fight.

When asked about Floyd Mayweather, he said “I think I’m ready to fight next year for him.”

“Many is the best in the world,” Chris Algeir admits, adding, “he got so much experience and perfected fighting style. Manny Pacquaiao is a hell of a fighter.”
