Taylor Brashears and Bree Fondacaro battled it out for Team Blake with “You’re No Good” by Linda Ronstadt on The Voice 2014 Battle Rounds, Monday, October 20, 2014.
Here’s what the judges have to say about their performance.
“Bree, I would love to see you loose yourself a little more. Taylo, you are just so confident, you just dive in,” said Pharrell.
“I love the song so much, but the change distracted me,” said Gwen.
“Performance wise, Bree is like singing in the room saying “I hate this guy!” but I thought Taylor is talking to the dude. I love to see the different approaches but I love the vibe Taylor gave,” said Adam.
“Bree has this lower register that feels so good and hypnotic but Taylor’s upper register and the strength of her voice will such you in with her personality,” said Blake.
The winner of the battle is Taylor Brashears. She is moving to the Knock Out Rounds. No one steal Bree Fondacaro.
