While Halloween is around the corner, netizens are asking if October 31, 2014 a Holiday?
Sorry guys, but October 31, 2014 is not a holiday!
According to Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr, “October 31 is a regular working day.”
“The eve of All Saints’ Day is not in the list of declared regular holidays and special non-working holidays. Suspension of work would depend on the companies concerned,” he added.
November 1 and November 2, which is, the celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day are declared special non-working holidays. Unfortunately, this year, they fell on weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
