Miss World Philippines 2014 has crowned Valerie Weigmann as winner at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, October 12, 2014.
In the defining moment of the next Miss World Philippines, the board gave the Final 5 with one simple and yet taught question during the Q&A Portion.
The ladies were asked “Why should you win Miss World Philippines?” Below are their answers:
Rachel Peters: If I am lucky enough to win the crown, I would be a strong international ambassadress and will rep our country with honor and pride.
Valerie Weigmann: I believe in empathy and compassion. We can all be advocate of change.
Nelda Ibe: I am strong and more dedicated and committed to the vision and mission of ms world.
Lorraine Kendrickson: I believe I should be the next Ms. World because I have the heart to give and the mind to inspire.
Nicole Donesa: I would motivate in establishing my own foundation where I can provide school materials to unfortunate kids.
The board named Valerie Weigmann as Miss World Philippines 2014, Lorraine Kendrickson as First Princess, Nelda Ibe as Second Princess, Nicole Donesa as Third Princess and Rachel Peters as Fourth Princess.
Valerie will represent the country in the Miss World 2014 pageant to be held in London on December 14, 2014.
