Veteran comedian Tiya Pusit passes away at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City on Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was 66.
According to report, Myrna Villanueva, real name, is battling number of health complications including kidney failure and aortic aneurysm. Tia Pusit has fallen ill since April and underwent a double bypass surgery last month.
The comedian failed to recover and her condition had gotten worse after her September 9 operation.
Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced by her family.
Tia Pusit recently appeared in ABS-CBN primetime soap Ikaw Lamang — she played the role of Kim Chiu’s nanny.
