Caitlyn Shadbolt is eliminated from The X Factor Australia 2014! The result was announced on Monday’s Live Decider episode, October 6, 2014.
The 19-year-old country singer is the latest eliminated contestant from the X Factor Australia competition. Dean Ray joined Caitlyn in the Bottom 2 after receiving the fewest number of votes from the home viewers.
Singing for survival, Caitlyn performed “If I Die Tonight” by The Band Perry while Dean performed “Hurt” by Johnny Cash / Nine Inch Nails.
Voting for the final verdict, Ronan votes to save Caitlyn and evict Dean. RedFoo votes to evict Caitlyn. Nat votes to save Dean and evict Caitlyn. Dannii vote to evict Caitlyn.
Caitlyn Shadbolt is eliminated from competition. Dean Ray will return for another round next week!
The Top 4 finalists are Brothers 3, Dean Ray, Reigan Derry and Marlisa Punzalan.
