Former X Factor contestant and GRL member Simone Battle found dead. She was 25.
According to TMZ, the 25-year-old pop singer found dead in her Los Angeles home on Friday, September 5, 2014.
The cause of her death is not yet determined and still under investigation.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L. Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time,” her record label Reign Deer Entertainment said in a statement.
Simone Battle is a former X Factor USA contestant; she made it to the Top 17 of the competition. She signed and joined the group called GRL formed by Robin Antin, the person who founded the modern girl troupe, the Pussycat Dolls.
