According to ABS-CBN News, Cuneta singed a whopping Php1 Billion contract deal with the network in 2012. She appeared in three TV5 programs such as “Kasama Mo, Kapatid” talk show, “The Mega and the Songwriter” musical show with Ogie Alcasid and “Madam Chairman” comedy series.
Immediately, TV5 network issued a brief statement about Cuneta’s announcement. The statement read as:
“TV5 wishes to extend its gratitude to Ms. Sharon Cuneta for being part of the Kapatid Network for almost three years. The network wishes her well in all her future endeavors.”
While no concrete details why the Megastar decided to leave the network, rumor has it that it might be connected to Cuneta’s widely-discussed mid-life crisis.
