Sanrio Says Hello Kitty Is Not A Cat

Hello Kitty is not a Cat according to Sanrio!

Sanrio Inc revealed after 40 years that the popular cartoon character ‘Hello Kitty’ is not actually a Cat.

Yes, you read it right. She is not a cat, she is a girl and her real name is Kitty White!

According to Christine R. Yano, anthropologist at the University of Hawaii:

Hello Kitty is not a cat. She’s a cartoon character. She is a little girl. She is a friend. But she is not a cat. She’s never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged creature. She does have a pet cat of her own, however, and it’s called Charmmy Kitty.

Sanrio Inc. confirmed the quite shocking and eye-popping revelation detailing her bio as read below:

Hello Kitty’s real name is Kitty White. She lives in London with her mama, Mary; papa, George; and twin sister, Mimmy.

She is around five apples tall and weighs around three apples.

Kitty White is a Scorpio and her birthday is November 1.

She loves to bake cookies and play the piano, and dreams of one day becoming a pianist or maybe even a poet.

She has a gift for music and English
