Ramon Bautista ‘Persona Non Grata’ in Davao City After ‘Hipon’ Joke

Ramon Bautista is a Persona Non Grata in Davao City after being offensive with ‘Hipon’ jokes during the Kadayawan Festival.

Despite of the apology made by the comedian, the city council declared Ramon Bautista a persona non grata in Cebu City on Tuesday.

Part of the resolution reads as:

There is a need to let the world know and those that employ Mr. Bautista that he is an extremely corrupt influence to the youth and his abusive behavior should not be tolerated.

Mr. Bautista willfully and arrogantly intended to propagate a culture of sexism and malechauvinism that promotes rude and disrespectful behavior against women.

The ‘Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?’ author irks Cebuanos with “hipon” joke on Saturday. City officials and Mayor Duterte who attended the event were not happy with the joke and asked Bautista to make an apology.

Bautista apologize after the event and later admit the mistake on Twitter saying, “He is willing to accept any consequences that may stem from his deed.”

Here is the video of the controversial ‘hipon joke’ of Ramon Bautista.
