The said “armpit humor” happened during It’s Showtime July 28 episode, where Vice Ganda wiped his sweaty armpit with a towel and smudged it onto a male dancer’s face.
The “double meaning” complaint emerge during Vice’s interview with Piolo Pascual and Moi Marcampo during the August 3 episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.
As a result, the MTRCB ordered ABS-CBN network to undergo “remedial and self-regulatory measures” for three months. Vice Ganda as well as the staff and host of both programs are instructed to attend seminars regarding “audience-sensitivity and the administration of justice.”
It was also reported that minors are not allowed to enter the studio audience of Gandang Gabi Vice.
On Friday, Showtime host Vice Ganda is noticeably addressing the minors and slightly explaining the jokes he made to young viewers.
