American Idol Season 7 finalist Michael Johns died on Friday, August 1, 2014. He was 35 and married to Stacey Vuduris.
According to multiple online report, the 35-year-old singer died from a blood clot in his ankle.
John’s family statement reads:
Our family is devastated by the passing of our beloved Michael, a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from all corners of the globe. Please keep Michael in your thoughts and respect our need to grieve privately in this difficult time.
Michael Johns finished 8th place on American Idol Season 7. After his Idol journey, he pursue his music career and recorded an album called “Hold Back My Heart” in 2009.
