Dami Im was hailed as the winner of The X Factor Australia 2013 on Monday, October 28, 2013. Dami Im took home the prize and a recording contract deal with Sony Music Australia.
The 24-year-old South Korean-Australian singer from Daisy Hill, Queensland, who brought powerhouse performances to the top-rated TV contest in Australia, beats Jai Waetford and Taylor Henderson in the public vote.
On Sunday, the top 3 performed three songs each. Dami Im brought outstanding performances of Hero, And I’m Telling You and her new single Alive.
The winner was announced at the end of a two-hour finale on Monday at the Opera House in Sydney featuring performances from Guy Sebastian, Fall Out Boy and Katy Perry.
