Senator Trillanes accused Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte a member of international Triad on Thursday, September 7, 2017.
The allegation was brought during the senate hearing on P6.4-billion smuggling of 604 kilos of methamphetamine in the Philippines.
Trillanes claimed that the tattoo on Paolo’s back will prove that he is part of a triad.
“The proof of his membership is the tattoo on his back. That is what will explain all this, and there is a competition among syndicates,” said Trillanes.
“That is the physical evidence of his membership in the triad. The tattoo,” he added.
Trillanes asked Paolo Duterte to show his tattoo, but he refused.
“No way! I invoke my right to privacy,” said Paolo.
However, Richard Gordon warned Trillanes to be careful in making such accusations.
