‘Bagyong Auring’ Weather Update PAGASA Forecast January 8 2017

Bagyong Auring has made its second land fall over Ubay, Bohol , weather agency PAGASA said on Monday, January 9, 2017.

Bagyong Auring PAGASA Weather Forecast, Storm Track, Typhoon Signal, Live Update January 8, 2017

According to PAGASA, as of 4 am today, Bagyong Auring was located at 100 km East Northeast of Tagbilaran City, Bohol packed with maximum winds of up to 45 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 75 kph.

Tropical depression Auring  is forecast to move Northwest at 9 kph.

Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.

Fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the eastern seaboard of Visayas and of Mindanao.

Cuyo Island, Bohol, Siquijor, Negros Provinces, Southern Leyte, Cebu including Camotes Island, Guimaras, Capiz, Iloilo, Southern part of Antique, Camiguin

Storm signals elsewhere were lifted.

Rains with gusty winds is expected over the Regions of Caraga and Northern Mindanao and the provinces of Davao del Norte, Northern Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley, Bohol, Siquijor and Southern Leyte.

Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over the rest of Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Palawan, Bicol Region and the rest of Mindanao.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila and the regions of Cordillera, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Eastern Visayas and coming from northeast to north over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
