Bagyong Auring has weakened to a Low Pressure Area, PAGASA said on Monday, January 9, 2017.
PAGASA reports, as of 10 am today, the center of the Low Pressure Area was located at the vicinity of 225 km west of Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.
This LPA is expected to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains over Bicol Region and Samar provinces. Residents of these areas are alerted against possible flash floods and landslides.
Storm signals elsewhere has now been lifted.
The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate action.

Rains with gusty winds is expected over Central Visayas and the provinces of Guimaras, Capiz, Iloilo, Southern part of Antique, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Norte including Siargao Island, Dinagat Province, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Negros Occidental, Southern Leyte and Cuyo Island.
Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides will be experienced over the rest of Visayas.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Mindanao and the regions of MIMAROPA and Bicol.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the northeast to northwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
