Bagyong Nina has maintained its strength and now endangers the province of Catanduanes, state weather agency PAGASA said on Sunday, December 25, 2016.
As of 4 pm today, Bagyong Nina with international name ‘Nock-ten was located at 65 km East Southeast of Virac, Catanduanes with maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 225 kph as it moves west-northwest at 15 kph.
It is expected to made landfall over Catanduanes by Sunday evening December 25.

Metro Manila, Masbate including Ticao Island, Oriental Mindoro, Batangas, Laguna, Rest of Quezon including Polillo, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island, Romblon, Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan, Bataan, Northern Samar
Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Aurora,Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, Calamian Group of Islands, Aklan, Capiz, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, Leyte and Bantayan Island.

Rains with occasional gusty winds is expected over Bicol region and the provinces of Northern and Eastern Samar.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the rest of Eastern Visayas, Caraga and the provinces of oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
Cloudy skies with light rains is expected over the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the northeast to north over Visayas.
The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the North to Northwest with slight to moderate seas.
