President Rodrigo Duterte issues statement on Nice, France terror attack

President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines have issued a statement on Saturday regarding the recent terror attack in Nice, France that killed 84 people including 10 children.

Duterte’s statement reads:

I would like to take this opportunity to make a public statement to say that we share the grief of France in the rampage of multiple murder of their citizens. We condemn the brutal and violent way that the people were run over by a truck as a terrorist act. We join the rest of the world in mourning and express our solidarity with France against terrorism, against what is fundamentally evil.

Rest assured we join you in your fight against terrorism. Thank you.

On Thursday, at least 84 died and 202 others injured after a terrorist drives a 9-ton truck through the crowds celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, France. The truck driver was identified as Mohamed ‘Loner’ Lahouaiej Bouhlel, who was shot dead after unleashing the rampage.
