Look: Thousands of drug users and pushers surrendered to police due to Duterte

Thousands of drug users and pushers has surrendered to authorities in Tagum City on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

Authorities told to ABS-CBN News that close to 4,000 suspects involved in illegal drugs packed an auditorium in Tagum City on Saturday.

While no detention, the suspects signed their names on a giant commitment wall and pledged to abandon drugs.

Police said that the suspects will be monitored hereafter.

Just recently, President Duterte made a big exposé by naming five police generals who he said involved in illegal drug trade.

Duterte is also reported to reveal the names of 23 mayors linked in illegal drugs in the coming days.
