Matt McAndrew sings ‘A Thousand Years’ on The Voice USA 2014 Blind Auditions

Matt McAndrew performed his version of ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri on The Voice USA Season 7 Blind Auditions, October 6, 2014.

Adam Levine turned his chair first followed by Blake and Pharrell. Gwen did not push the red button for Matt. Here’s what the judges have to say about his audition.

“It’s different and I was really moved by what you did,” Adam told Matt. “I felt like I was seeing a really accomplished, very unique artist up there. There’s something about you that is really spectacular,” he adds.

“You have a really beautiful voice and to come out of a male and have that kind of emotion, it’s really refreshing,” said Gwen.

“Your voice is interesting and even when your voice is soft, it’s still intense,” said Blake.

“You have this tone where you can just sing four voices and I’ve been waiting for a voice like this,” said Pharrell.
