Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Perform at Super Bowl 2014 Halftime Show

Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers will team up for the halftime show at Super Bowl 2014!

The National Football League chose Bruno Mars to perform at Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

“The singer is more than qualified for the much-coveted spot: his latest album, “Unorthodox Jukebox,” is currently No. 9 on the Billboard charts. In addition, he’s had four No. 1 singles as a solo artist: “When I Was Your Man,” “Just The Way You Are,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” and “Grenade.” Mars was also featured on B.o.B’s “Nothin’ On You,” which went to No. 1 in 2010.

Just recently, Mars invited the Red Hot Chili Peppers to join him on stage to perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show.

The Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show is an NFL Network production and will be executive produced by Ricky Kirshner and directed by Hamish Hamilton.
