Manila, Philippines- President of the Philippines Benigno S. Aquino III will deliver his 4th State Of the Nation Address (SONA) at the House of Representatives on Monday, July 22, 2013.
PNoy is expected to report the government’s achievements, the economic growth of the nation, job creations, social services, healthcare, rural electrification, classroom building, tourism, agriculture, scholarships and many more.
The State of the Nation Address is an annual address by the President of the Republic of the Philippines to a joint session of the Congress of the Philippines. It is mandated by the 1987 Constitution, and must be delivered every fourth Monday of July at the Plenary Hall of the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Batasan Hills, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
This year’s SONA is the 73rd since 1936 and the 26th since the restoration of democracy in 1987.
