Super Bowl 2013 is just around the corner and the latest buzz for the football championship are keep on coming including the addition of Alicia Keys and the possible reunion of Destiny’s Child for the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2013.
It has been announced that Beyonce will headline the Pepsi-sponsored Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Rumor has it that her old Destiny’s Child band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will be joining her on stage as well as her husband Jay-Z.
On Friday, it was announced that Alicia Keys will be performing the national anthem before the start of the game.
Meanwhile, 49ers has clinch a spot for the Super Bowl XLVII after getting the 28-24 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC championship game on Sunday. The San Francisco 49ers will either face New England Patriots or Baltimore Ravens on February 3, 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Update: It’s San Francisco 49ers vs. Baltimore Ravens.
For those who weren’t able to watch the game up-close, there will be a free online broadcasting for the Super Bowl; viewers will be able to watch the match at nfl.com and cbssports.com. Home viewers can also catch the championship and enjoy the Super Bowl Halftime Show on TV; it will be broadcast live on CBS at 6:30PM ET on February 3, 2013.
