Nolan Daniels Powerball Ticket Facebook Hoax

Powerball’s record breaking jackpot gets a record breaking Facebook hoax!

“Looks like I won’t be going to work EVER!!!! Share this photo and I will give a random person 1 million dollars!”

On Thursday, this caption was posted by Facebook user Nolan Daniels along with a photo of himself holding a ticket with the winning numbers of Wednesday’s Powerball drawing.

Powerball’s record breaking $588 million prize was shared by two winners and Daniels claims to be the lucky other who take the half. The 35-year-old software engineer already promised 1 million dollar to a lucky Facebooker who will share his photo, which he will pick randomly. But apparently, the post is reportedly a hoax.

According to multiple online reports, the photo was poorly Photoshopped and not in numerical order as a real winning ticket would be.

But the post was enough to fool a lot of people. Millions of Facebook users could not help but to take chances, hoping to grab an instant million dollar bucks by sharing Nolan Daniels’ photo. So far, the photo has been shared 2,035,417 times since it was posted on Thursday evening.
