Thousands have watched the latest planetary spectacle as Total Solar Eclipse occurs earlier Today in Australia!
Many spectators watched the unusual event when the sun, moon and Earth aligned and plunged northern Australia into darkness during a total solar eclipse on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 . It covers and darkens the northern hemisphere with 95-mile-wide shadow.
Spectators flocked in Queensland to watch the nation’s first Total Solar Eclipse in a decade. The moon’s shadow path on the Australian mainland lasted for a maximum of 2 minutes and 5 seconds.
