Following the passing of Apple’s iPhone 5 in a series of Chinese regulatory checks, the device is scheduled to be launched on December 14 in China, one of the Apple’s biggest markets dominating 71% of the country’s market for tablet alone. And a week earlier, the iPad mini and the fourth-generation iPad will be available at China stores.
The company’s iPhone has been one of the most popular smartphones among Chinese consumers thus created long lines outside the company’s stores in Beijing and Shanghai on the first day of sales. The same thing with iPads, though Apple said that only the Wi-Fi models of iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad will be available on sale in the country.
