Jessica Sanchez makes a strong comeback, joins American Idol Top 6

American Idol front-runner Jessica Sanchez has made it to American Idol Season 11 Top 6!

The 16-year-old contestant from San Diego, California survived this week’s elimination after earning rave reviews from the judges with her jaw-dropping versions of Alicia Keys’ ‘Fallin” and Otis Redding’s classic ‘Try A Little Tenderness.’

Sanchez was nearly eliminated last week – she receives the lowest number of votes, but the judges undoubtedly use the ‘one save’ and give her a second chance to continue her American Idol journey. Sanchez’ shocking elimination was a history, making her as the first female contestant to be save by the judges.

Jessica Sanchez joins Elise Testone, Hollie Cavanagh, Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet and Skylar Laine on American Idol Season 11 Top 6.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Colton Dixon from Murfreesboro, TN was sent home tonight.
