Jermaine Jones disqualified from American Idol for concealing crimes

American Idol Top 12 contestant Jermaine Jones has been disqualified from the competition for concealing crimes from the producers.

According to TMZ, the 25-year-old contestant was charged with two crimes back in 2011. Jermaine Jones was involved in violence and gave fake name to the police when arrested. Also, he has an outstanding warrant which he hid from the producers.

Jones was confronted by the Idol producers on camera today, and will no longer be part of the upcoming live show. The footage will be aired on Wednesday’s episode.

Jones announced his departure on Twitter, saying, “Awww I will no longer b on the show.”
