Little Mix is the X Factor UK 2011 winner while Marcus Collins placed second in the competition!
The all-girl-group Little Mix made up of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock was named as the X Factor UK 2011 big winner by winning the viewer’s vote over Marcus Collins.
The two finalists battled out on the second part of the X Factor Finale in front of 10,000 people at Wembley Arena on Sunday. Each act performed three songs – both performed their version of Damien Rice’s Cannonball as their third song.
At the end, girl group Little Mix was announced as this year’s X Factor UK champion – the first girl band to win ITV’s hit show.
