Lionsgate has released the full theatrical trailer of the much awaited 2012 film ‘The Hunger Games.’
Based on the best-selling trilogy novel of Suzanne Collins, the film’s theatrical trailer unveils Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old girl who lives in a post apocalyptic country called Panem, the place where United States once existed. As seen on the trailer, Katniss volunteers to take her younger sister’s place as the Capitol randomly select a boy and girl from Panem’s twelve districts to fight to the death on the annual televised event called the Hunger Games.
The Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne. Directed by Gary Ross, the movie is set due on March 23, 2012.
